This project will retrofit existing County <br />Facilities to better survive and/or quickly recover from natural and man-made disasters. <br />This appropriation may be funded 100% by the federal stimulus package or may be funded <br />by general obligation bonds or other sources. <br />The Department of Public Works is requesting to waive the Finance Committee and to have <br />this bill heard at the Council meeting scheduled for March 3, 2009. This project is "shovel <br />ready" and should the stimulus funding be approved, the appropriation must be available. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works. <br />Nanvcy, E.
