No. 127 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 10:45 A.M. <br /> <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 127, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 127, transmitted by Police Chief Wayne G. Carvalho, via Communication <br /> No. 389, dated July 1, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from First Hawaiian Bank. <br /> First Hawaiian Bank has graciously donated a 32x32x26" Johnson Pacific safe, No. 137619, <br /> valued at $300. The safe will provide added security for the retention of valuable items at the <br /> Kealakehe Police Station. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of the <br /> county, may accept gifts of donations or personal property. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 127 and <br /> recommends its adoption. Your Committee also recommends that a letter of appreciation be sent <br /> to Mr. Bob Shiroma, Manager, First Hawaiian Bank, Bank Properties Department at 1314 S.
