No. 118 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:45 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was refened Resolution No. 118, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 118, transmitted by Police Chief Wayne G. Carvalho, via Communication <br /> <br /> No. 372, dated June ] 0, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from the World Triathlon <br /> Corporation d.b.a. Ironman Triathlon. <br /> World Triathlon Corporation has graciously donated two Huffy Ironman mountain bicycles to <br /> the Hawaii County Police Department's Community Policing Bicycle Patrol Program. The <br /> bicycles are valued at a combined total of $1300. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of <br /> the county, may accept gifts of donations or personal property. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 118'and <br /> recommends its adoption. Your Committee also recommends that a letter of appreciation be sent <br /> to Sharron L.
