U~Il~ <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII •' :•• STATE OF HAWAII <br />:.~. <br />~ITT'D~.NT.i~ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 61 Cl!9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT ANll <br />FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation along with the <br />support of Mr. Jack Gifford have held the Kalae Iki Baseball clinic for the past seven years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Grifford's dream was to give the youth of the Big Island an opportunity to be <br />recognized and trained by mainland college baseball coaches; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Gifford passed away this January but had established a foundation that will <br />continue to support his dream of giving these opportunities to Big Island youth; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation to cover the excess costs associated with putting on the Kalac Iki <br />Baseball Clinic to be held on July 17-19, 2009; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $500 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.21 Department of Parks & Recreation $500 <br />Recreation Div Class/Activ.
