No. 131/Bill No. 29 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 29, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Bill No. 29, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 131, dated <br /> February 4, 2009, amends Chapter 32, Article 2, Sections 32-24 Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended), Relating to Community Facilities Districts. <br /> <br /> This amendment eliminates a reference to the property appraisal requirements for community facilities <br /> districts that is inconsistent with other sections of the Chapter. Previously, Ordinance 07-146 amended <br /> Chapter 32, Section 32-18 and 32-57 to shift the time of, and to strengthen the appraised value <br /> requirement for community facilities district bonds.
