Bill 385 includes SECTION 4, which creates a new article (article 3) to retain those <br /> provisions relating to Indigenous Architecture. <br /> <br /> Three types of amendments to Bill 385 are proposed herein: <br /> 1. A formatting amendment to existing material in Bill 385; <br /> 2. Proposed amendments, as requested by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), to the <br /> existing language of the IECC that will be incorporated into the County Code; and <br /> 3. Deletion of the Ramseyer format clause in Bill 385. <br /> <br /> The proposed amendments are as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Amend Bill 385 by removing section numbers for amendments to the iECC, using item numbers <br /> instead, and the following formatting changes, to read (illustrated via Ramseyer format with <br /> respect to Bill 385): <br /> <br /> "(1) Amending Section 101.1. Section 101.1 is amended by amending the first paragraph to read: <br /> <br /> "Section 101.1 Title. This code shall be known as the International Energy Conservation Code of <br /> the County of Hawaii, and shall be cited as such. It is referred to herein as "this code"." <br /> <br /> <br /> Comm.
