BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The project is to construct a new major collector road from the intersection of Palani Road and Henry <br /> Street to Hina Lani Street. County funds ($4,000,000) will be used for the design phase and Federal <br /> funds ($35,000,000) will be used for the construction phase. <br /> <br /> We are requesting to waive hearing this Bill at the Finance Committee and proceed directly to Council, <br /> as the project design contract is ready to go.
