~tV O! y <br />~L~ ' <br />n ~61~ <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII •~ 1• <br />.!'.~ <br />.~.. <br />dirt oi~M~:M~ <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />7® 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, the Sanctuary of Mana Kea Gardens is a 5ot(c)(3) organization who will <br />be the umbrella organization for "Domestic Harmony"; and <br />WHEREAS, Domestic Harmony started nearly ten years ago in Puna and has gained <br />momentum that has taken effect Island-wide; and <br />WHEREAS, Domestic Harmony reflects and takes a proactive, solution oriented <br />position towards the local and world wide problems surrounding domestic violence and its <br />many residual effects like substance abuse violence directed to others in schools, workplaces, <br />and road rage; and <br />WHEREAS, Hawaii County Council, and former Mayor Harry Kim have recently <br />offered proclamations to "Celebrate a Year and a Month of Domestic Harmony'; and <br />WHEREAS, Domestic Harmony plans to print bumper stickers that will state "Just Say <br />Yes To Domestic Harmony"; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District i will be appropriated to <br />the Hawaii County Police Department to be funded towards the Sanctuary of Mana Kea <br />Gardens for the purpose of printing "Domestic Harmony" bumper stickers; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $500 <br />
