COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72 O9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING /APPROPRIATING AN APPI20PRIATION OUT <br />ANll FROM THE DESIGNATEll FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, Malama O Puna, a 501 (e) 3 non profit organization is in need of funds for <br />its Spring Junior Lifeguard Program/Puna; and <br />WHEREAS, the Junior Lifeguard Program's purpose is to increase the self-confidence, <br />physical conditioning, and ocean awareness of program participants through their introduction to <br />ocean and beach safety, first aid and surf rescue techniques; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to <br />the Hawaii Fire Department to be used towards Malama O Puna's Junior Lifeguard Program <br />Spring Session; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`[ that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED 1'O: <br />010.221.5223.02 Hawaii Pire Department <br />Ocean Safety OCE -Misc.
