COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 358 (Draft 3) ORDINANCE NO. 97 2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division I, section 24-257, schedule 5 (35 mile per hou~ limit), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: 1-1 Kukuau Street. from Komohana Street to its mauka ter~inus'. SECTION 2. Chapter 2'4" article 10, division I, schedule 3 (25 mile per hour limit), subsection (c) item (10), of the Hawaii County Code, is amended to ).,rf~h-<\ too section 24-255, ;.'; " South Hilo, read as follows: (10) Kukuau Street[.]. from Komohana Street to Kapiolani Street. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
