No. 232 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:45 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 61, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 61, transmitted by District V Councilmember Al Smith, via Communication <br /> No. 232, dated April 2, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation of a swing set from the <br /> Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council's Head Start Program. <br /> HCEOC's Head Start Program has graciously donated a 4-seat split swing set to the County of <br /> Hawaii Parks and Recreation Department for use at the Hawaiian Beaches Park playground. The <br /> swing set is valued at $667.00. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of <br /> the county, may accept gifrs of donations or personal property. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 61 and <br /> recommends its adoption.
