No. 201 ' <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:35 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 57, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 57, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, via Communication No. 207, <br /> dated March 13, 1997, approves the cost items agreed upon by the Employers and Hawaii Fire <br /> Fighters Association for the contract period, July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1999. <br /> The estimated cost to the County of Hawaii for negotiated cost items including adjustments to <br /> wages, overtime, and meal allowances will be $902,037. Additional adjustments such as <br /> employer's contribution to the Employee Retirement System, vacation, holiday and sick leave <br /> repazations will increase the total cost to $1,249,938. The revised budget for Fiscal Year 1997-98 <br /> <br /> will include a provision for these adjustments. <br /> Pursuant to Section 89-10(b) of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, relating to collective bazgaining, all <br /> <br /> cost items shall be subject to appropriations by the appropriate legislative bodies.
