No. 178 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:45 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 50, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 50, transmitted by Fire Chief Nelson Tsuji, via Communication No. 178, dated <br /> February 25, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from Hawaiian Dredging <br /> Construction Company. <br /> Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company has graciously donated an IBM Series III, Model 60, <br /> copying machine, Serial No. 10105234 to the Hawaii County Fire Department, Kona Fire <br /> Prevention Office. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of <br /> <br /> the county, may accept gifts of donations or personal property. <br /> <br /> For capitalization purposes, your Committee has requested that a monetary value be placed on <br /> <br /> the copying machine. A second draft inclusive of the monetary value will be submitted to <br /> Council for adoption. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 50 and <br /> <br /> recommends its adoption. Your Committee also recommends that a letter of appreciation be sent <br /> <br /> to Mike Ikeda, Assistant Division Manager, Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company at <br /> <br /> P.O.
