No. 125 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 1 I :10 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 125, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 125, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated January 27, 1997, <br /> nominates Mr. Warren P. Chong, of Kona, to the Hawaii County Board of Ethics. <br /> A 43-year resident of Hawaii, Mr. Chong will replace Stephen G. Bess, whose term expired on <br /> December 31, 1996. Mr. Chong has been the field representative of the Hawaii Carpenters <br /> Union since 1989, prior to that, a carpenter with Pan Pacific Construction. He is active with the <br /> Ironman Triathlon, West Hawaii Workforce 2000, Konawaena Complex, School to Work <br /> Partnership Program, and the Kona Jaycees.
