WHEREAS, Grantee is qualified to receive funds <br />available to Hawaii under the Act and its implementing <br />regulations (28 C.F.R. Part 33) or guidelines (Office of <br />Justice Programs, STOP Violence Against Women Formula and <br />Discretionary Grant Program Guidance), and has applied to <br />Agency for receipt of the same as a subgrantee; <br />WHEREAS, Agency has reviewed Grantee's application <br />for funds, and is satisfied that all of the requirements of the <br />Act and its implementing regulations have been satisfied and i <br />that Grantee is capable of using the federal funds requested <br />appropriately; <br />WHEREAS, Grantee has demonstrated the capacity to <br />provide the services, programs and activities described herein <br />and is ready, willing and able to provide the required <br />services, programs and activities; <br />NOW THEREFORE, Agency and Grantee for and in <br />consideration of the covenants, conditions, agreements, and <br />stipulations hereinafter expressed, do mutually agree as <br />follows: <br />Rev. 06/07 7 <br />
