Bill 385, Draft 2, is a product of amendments contained within <br /> Communication No. 141.7 that were duly approved by the council at its Public works and <br /> Intergovernmental Relations Committee meeting of March 17, 2009. <br /> <br /> Bill 385 amends chapter 5, article 2, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), <br /> Building Energy Efficiency Standards, by repealing chapter 5, article 2, Hawaii County Code 1983 <br /> (2005 Edition, as amended) in its entirety and replacing it with the International Energy Conservation <br /> Code 2006 (IECC). Deletion of chapter 5, article 2, caused the deletion of provisions for Indigenous <br /> Architecture created by Ordinance No. 07-164.
