COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 O9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the 27`h Annual Hawaii Kupuna Hula Festival will be held at the <br />Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa on September 16 and 17, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the Festival offers a two day hula competition and craft fair for seniors <br />coming from the Big Island as well as from throughout the State of Hawaii, mainland and <br />Asia; and <br />WHEREAS, the Elderly Activities Division (EAD), Department of Parks & <br />Recreation, has requested financial aid for costs associated with the facility rental of the four <br />Keauhou ballrooms needed to implement the entire event; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the 27`h Annual Hawaii Kupuna <br />Hula Festival; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,125 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $3,125 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5519.92 Department of Parks and Recreation $3,125 <br />EAD Special Programs OCE <br />(27`h Annual Hawaii Kupuna Hula Festival) <br />
