COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. SS O9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, Friends of NELHA (FON) is an independent, volunteer 501(c)(3) non- <br />profitorganization dedicated to promoting education and outreach programs at Keahole Point, <br />where NELHA is recognized worldwide as a unique and innovative ocean research, business, <br />and technology park; and <br />WHEREAS, FON, Hawaii Electric Light Company and Hawaii Community College's <br />Office of the Continuing Education and Training will be providing half-day "Energy Efficiency <br />and Auditing" workshops at six island-wide sites between March and May 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, these workshops will help educate the citizens of Hawaii on how to <br />maximize energy efficiency and the deployment of renewable energy resources on the island; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from all Council Districts will be divided equally <br />and will be appropriated to the Department of Research & Development to provide financial <br />support for the Island-Wide Energy Efficiency and Auditing workshops; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OP <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,225.15 <br />OUT AND PROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $3,225.15 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.161.5162.65 Department of Research & Development $3,225.15 <br />New Industry & Ind.
