COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, Hawaii Prepazatory Academy's (HPA) Project Grad Night is adrug- and <br />alcohol-free event where graduating seniors can safely celebrate with their senior class <br />classmates in a positive and healthy environment; and <br />WHEREAS, in addition to providing meals and some gifts, HPA's Project Grad Night <br />2009 also provides fun and exciting activities that will include food and entertainment such as a <br />magician and a hypnotist; and <br />WHEREAS, each year, Project Grad Night is made possible thanks to a variety of <br />volunteer fundraising events as well as from generous donations from HPA's Ohana Association, <br />families, community members and businesses, and Faculty; and <br />WHEREAS, HPA's Pazent Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3), will act as fiscal sponsors for <br />the HPA Project Grad Night 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Liquor Control to be used towards HPA's Project Grad Night 2009, which is <br />scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2009; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000 <br />
