No. 45 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:47 A.M. <br /> Chairman and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 45, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 45, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated <br /> December 19, 1996, nominates Mrs. Mary R. Kim, of Puna, to the Hawaii County <br /> Pension Board. <br /> <br /> A 24-year resident of Hawaii, Mrs. Kim will replace Faustino D. Domingo, whose term <br /> <br /> expired December 31, 1996. Mrs. Kim has been aself-employed Realtor since 1983 and <br /> is a member of the Board of Realtors. Of no political affiliation, she will serve a term to <br /> <br /> end December 31, 2001. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Kim stated that she is comfortable in making the commitment to attend the <br /> <br /> meetings, and is familiar with the sunshine law. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Article V, Section 5-3.4 of the Hawaii County Charter, the members of the <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Pension Board shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the <br /> <br /> council in the manner prescribed in Article XIII, Section 13-4 of the Hawaii County <br /> <br /> Charter. <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance recommends the approval of the appointment of <br /> <br /> Mrs. Mary R.
