No. 264 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 10:50 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 73, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 73, transmitted by Fire Chief Nelson Tsuji, via Conununication No. 264, dated <br /> Apri121, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from Chevron USA, Inc. <br /> Chevron USA, Inc. has graciously donated fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) for the training of <br /> Hawaii County Fire Department personnel to fight petroleum fires. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of <br /> the county, may accept gifts of donations of personal property. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 73 and <br /> recommends its adoption.
