COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 107 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Human Services -Personnel and Organization <br />I Development Division provides training, facilitation, and consulting support to all departments <br />of the County in order to continually improve both personnel and organizational effectiveness <br />and maximize the potential of the County's human capital; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel and Organization Development Division will hold its 2009 <br />County Office Support Staff Conference "Thriving in Tough Times," at the Nani Mau Gardens, <br />on Thursday, May 14, 2009; and <br />' WHEREAS, the conference is a highly interactive workshop designed to explore what it <br />takes to thrive with challenges of today by combining individual and group activities to assist <br />'~ staff in developing a plan that can be applied in their lives, and to leave staff members energized <br />with the necessary tools needed to thrive at work and at home; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Human Resources to be used to assist in funding the 2009 County Office <br />Support Staff Conference; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: <br />AMOUNT OF <br />I APPROPRIATION: <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />General <br />$1,000 <br />Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief <br />$1,000 <br />010.151.5151.11 Department of Human Resources $1,000 <br />Training Expenses <br />(2009 County Office Support Staff <br />Conference "Thriving in Tough Times") <br />
