COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />112 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, Community Enterprises is anon-profit 501(c)3 corporation duly <br />incorporated in the State of Hawaii and recognized as a Public Charity by the Internal Revenue <br />Service; and <br />WHEREAS, Community Enterprises -Kona Town Meetings is operated entirely by <br />volunteers and conducts Town Meetings that are held between the months of September through <br />May; and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Enterprises -Kona Town Meetings consist of themes and <br />speakers from the community who provide the public with information through scheduled <br />meetings that showcase governmental, business and organization representatives participating in <br />an open forum setting; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Research and Development to be used as an award towards Community <br />Enterprises -Kona Town Meetings; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $500 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.161.5162.98 Department of Research and Development $500 <br />Hawaii County Resource Center, Misc. <br />Contract Services <br />(Community Enterprises -Kona Town Meetings) <br />
