<br /> <br /> <br /> ~~tr os x <br /> 4JL;~ ' <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 116 09 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 4"', 2009 Ka`u Ho`olaule`a, Ltd., a non-profit organization <br /> dedicated to serving youth, will be hosting the annual July 4°i Celebration and Parade in <br /> Nd'alehu; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the event always provides opportunities for collaboration and cooperation <br /> among community residents and local businesses, and encourages continued partnerships <br /> throughout the year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this will also be an opportunity for island visitors and residents to <br /> experience the unique environment and culture of Ka`u ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this is a public event that encourages participation through media <br /> announcements, postings and disemmination of flyers and partnerships with local schools and <br /> businesses; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from council district 6 will be appropriated to the <br /> Department of Parks & Recreation to be used towards Ka`u Ho`olaule`a, Ltd., and the Annual <br /> July 4`h Celebration; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> <br /> FUND: General <br /> <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $15,000 <br /> <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC - Contingency $15,000 <br /> Relief <br /> <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> <br /> 010.500.5517.02 Parks & Recreation Department $15,000 <br /> Culture/Arts OCE, Misc.
