~JMtYI `N'~ <br />+'` L~ilrg <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII •~ '• STATE OF HAWAII <br />~T~ Of •Hj,'!~ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12:~ 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, Kea`au High School's Project Grad is a drug- and alcohol-free event <br />where graduating seniors can safely celebrate all night with their friends in a positive and <br />healthy environment; and <br />WHEREAS, in addition to providing meals and refreshments, this event also provides <br />fun and exciting activities such as games, dancing, entertainment, and prizes; and <br />WHEREAS, each year, Project Grad is provided thanks to the efforts and donations <br />of volunteers, alumni, students, staff, families, local businesses, and the community; and <br />WHEREAS, this year, there will be an estimated 175 students participating in Project <br />Grad on June 5-6, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Liquor Control to be used towards Kea`au High School's Project Grad; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $2,000 <br />Public Programs, Misc. Contract Services <br />(Kea`au High School -Project Grad 2009) <br />
