The objectives <br /> being that of promoting the Big Island as a viable destination for <br /> filmmakers, and to prouide resource services to those filmmakers <br /> both local and foreign. <br /> <br /> <br /> The Big Island of Hawaii in its diuersity of climates and topography is <br /> an enuironment that lends itself to hundreds of interesting locations <br /> that would enhance any film. By increasing film production, the Big <br /> Island would benefit not only by supporting a clean industry but one <br /> that would prouide employment and increase the earnings of the huge <br /> number of businesses that act as support services to filmmaking. <br /> <br /> Thus, the Film Industry would be contributing positlue growth to the <br /> overall condition of the Big Island's economy. <br /> <br /> In order to accomplish the objectiues of the County of Hawaii, the Big <br /> Island Flm Office will pursue actluities to that end by implementing <br /> the following: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> E70iIBIT A <br />
