COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 123 A9 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, the Traffic Division provides traffic calming improvements to address <br />public concerns related to vehicular speeding; and <br />WHEREAS, traffic calming improvements, such as speed humps and smart signs, not <br />only reduce driving speeds, but also helps to protect the lives of motorists and pedestrians; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the <br />Department of Public Works for traffic calming improvements in Council District 3; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $20,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.801.5801.33 Department of Public Works $20,000 <br />Trans to Cap Proj Fund-G <br />(To be allotted to East Hawaii Traffic Calming <br />Improvements -Council District 3 <br />110.399.5355.44.115) <br />
