COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 125 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TD <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, Hilo High School's Project Graduation provides a safe, secure, and <br />supervised celebration alternative to the traditional graduation parties that involve underage <br />drinking, illegal substance use, and unsupervised late-night partying that normally results in <br />drinking and driving; and <br />WHEREAS, this drug-, alcohol-, and tobacco-free event provides the parents and <br />families of the graduates with peace of mind that their child is in a safe and wholesome <br />environment afrer graduation; and <br />WHEREAS, over 300 graduates are expected to participate in this year's Project <br />Graduation, which will be held at the Hilo Yacht Club on June 5-6, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Liquor Control to be used towards Hilo High School's Project Graduation; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the following amount is hereby transferred/zppropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $1,000 <br />Public Programs, Misc. Contract Services <br />(Hilo High School -Project Graduation 2009) <br />
