COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. g3~ ®~ <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR THE <br />HIGASHIHARA PARK <br />WHEREAS, Rotary Club of Kona Community Foundation, is donating I<eiki playground equipment, for <br />ages 2 - 5, for the Higashihara Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the playground equipment will be installed by various community groups and volunteers, <br />and has an estimated value of S 10,000; and <br />WHEREAS, Article Xlll, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br />behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donation of personal property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department oC Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`1 <br />that in accordance with Article XHI, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County <br />of Hawaii accepts the donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution he sent to <br />Rotary Club of Kona Conununity Foundation, c/o Ms. Gretchen Watson-Kabei, P.O.
