Ignacio of <br /> Council District 1 to the Hawaii County Police Commission. <br /> <br /> Council members Naeole, Ikeda, and Hoffman spoke highly of their experiences with <br /> Ms. Ignacio in other areas of public service. Council members Greenwell and Ford requested <br /> Ms. Ignacio to be alert and sensitive as to how the Police Department may share in the burden of <br /> cutting County expenditures. <br /> <br /> Committee members agreed that it would not be necessary for Ms. Ignacio to appear before full <br /> Council for final confirmation. <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation is in accordance with the purpose <br /> and intent of Communication 211 and recommends the appointment of Carol R.
