COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />171 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br />WHEREAS, the Stanley Costales Waiakea-Uka Gym is heavily used by the <br />community for sporting events, instructional classes, and practices; and <br />WHEREAS, basketball is a year-round sport at this facility and is provided for the <br />youth through leagues, camps, and practices; and <br />WHEREAS, an adjustable, portable basketball system is needed for children eight- <br />years-old and under so that they, too, can enjoy the sport; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated <br />to the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of two portable basketball <br />systems for the Stanley Costales Waiakea-Uka Gym; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $4,850 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.9] Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $4,850 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,850 <br />Recreation Div Equip, Misc.
