COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1'75 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APYROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, He Ola Hou O Ke Kumu Niu is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Hawaiian cultural <br />education group which runs Lihikai Hawaiian Cultural Learning Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the organization is hosting Ho`ea Ea II, the second Hawaii Island Youth <br />Food Sovereignty Conference from June 10 - 14, 2009 at their center in Keaukaha; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the conference is to activate the people, especially the <br />youth, to produce food through a combination of hands-on workshops, speakers and service <br />learning, all centered in the Keaukaha and Hilo communities; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Arts Division to be used towards the <br />funding of Ho`ea Ea II; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $500 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $500 <br />Culture and Arts OCE <br />(He Ola Hou O Ke Kumu Niu-Ho`ea Ea 1[) <br />
