These funds, to be used to cover the costs for additional <br /> training, increase the total appropriation for this fiscal year from $18,570 to $32,570. <br /> <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br /> additional funds into the Traffic Investigation Program account. <br /> <br /> Because we are close to the end of the fiscal year, we would like to request a waiver from <br /> the Finance Committee and have this bill heard at the next Council meeting scheduled for <br /> June 2, 2009. <br /> <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawai'i County Police <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Nancy E.
