NtV os N <br /> ~~Jiy, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII • -STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .;jam <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1.90 09 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department untilizes volunteer firefighters; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Volunteer Division represents another unique concept implemented to <br /> support the delivery of critical emergency services <br /> WHEREASE, the delivery of fire protection and other essential services to the island's many <br /> remote and isolated "pocket" communities would be a financial and logistical impossibility without the <br /> support of an active volunteer firefighter program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the communities of Pa`auilo, Laupahoehoe, and Pepe`ekeo are all supported by <br /> volunteer fire companies; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the <br /> Hawaii Fire Department to fund a recognition banquet for the volunteer firefighters of Council <br /> District 1; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.221.5226.02 Hawaii Fire Department $1,000 <br /> Training and Volunteer Fire OCE <br /> (volunteer firefighters recognition banquet) <br /> <br />
