COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 70 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 9~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-281, <br /> schedule 29 (Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain <br /> streets), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 <br /> edition), is amended by deleting the following item: <br /> [(17) Lehua Street, Puna side, beginning at a <br /> point four hundred sixty-five feet makai <br /> of Wainaku Street and extending forty <br /> feet toward Puueo Street from 7:00 a.m. <br /> to 5:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays, <br /> and holidays.] <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-287, <br /> schedule 35 (Passenger loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, of <br /> the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended by adding the <br /> following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> L~ Lehua Street, Puna side, beginning at a uoint <br /> four hundred sixty-five feet makai of Wainaku <br /> Street and extending forty feet toward Puueo <br /> Street from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 n.m. exceot <br /> Saturdavs, Sundavs, and holidav~. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material <br /> is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed <br /> material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the <br /> application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, <br /> such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of <br /> the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br /> provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this <br /> ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
