Request for Loan. The County of Hawaii, pursuant to Section 342D- <br /> 83 through Section 342D-87, Hawaii Revised Statutes, will be submitting an application <br /> for a loan funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 portion of the <br /> Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund Loan (SRF Loan) to the Director of the <br /> Department of Health, State of Hawaii, to finance the construction of any and all of the <br /> wastewater projects listed in "Exhibit A". <br /> In accordance with funds allocated by the American Recovery and Reinvestment <br /> Act (ARRA) of 2009, the Director of the Department of Health, State of Hawaii, has <br /> authorized zero interest and zero loan fee loans with principal forgiveness of the entire <br /> load amount. <br /> SECTION 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to <br /> execute all necessary intergovernmental agreements and documents between the State <br /> of Hawaii and the County of Hawaii, relating to the SRF loan to finance the construction <br /> of any and all of the wastewater projects listed in "Exhibit A". <br /> <br /> i <br /> <br />
