BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> <br /> The County's current special fuel tax program was set in place in 1988 (Resolution <br /> 397-88) for a period of ten years, subsequently extended for another ten years <br /> (Resolution 192-97), and continued at existing rates (Resolution 504-08). Resolution <br /> 504-08 inadvertently omitted any reference to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the <br /> operative extension provision.
