The property is located <br /> along the west (mauka) side of Kino`ole Street, approximately 240 feet south (Puna side) of the <br /> Kino`ole Street- Wailoa Street intersection, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> <br /> The applicant, Pa`a Aina Trust, is requesting an amendment to Change of Zone <br /> Ordinance No. 01-34 for a 2-year time extension to comply with Condition B (secure <br /> Final Plan Approval). Change of Zone Ordinance No. 01-34 rezoned 19,721 square feet <br /> of land from a Single-Family Residential -10,000 square feet (RS-10) to a General <br /> Commercial 10,000 square feet (CN-10) district.
