Our assessment <br /> has shown that opening the Haleki'i Street Extension to the general public for one-way <br /> southbound travel has provided the intended benefit by significantly easing traffic congestion at <br /> peak hours. The Department of Public Works believes that an additional six months is <br /> warranted, and will provide relief to area motorists until a permanent solution is implemented. <br /> We request that this matter be waived from committee, as enactment prior to September <br /> 4, 2009, is crucial. <br /> If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 961-8324. <br /> <br /> vW <br /> arren H.W.
