Kenoi, dated June 2, 2009, forwards a request for a time extension by Grace Community Church, at Honokohau 2"d, North Kona, Hawaii, covered by Tax Map Key: 7-4-06:038. Bill No. 101 seeks to amend Condition D (Final Subdivision Approval) of Change of Zone Ordinance No. 98-08. The property is located on the east side of Palani Road, adjacent to and north of the Kona Christian Academy. Communication No. 408 reports that the Hawaii County Planning Commission, as required by Chapter 4, Sec. 6-4.3(C), Hawaii County Charter, considered the above request at its meeting on May 15, 2009. The Commission concurred with the Planning Director's reasons for recommending favorable consideration of the request. Your Committee recommended passage of Bill 101 on first reading at its meeting of July 7, 2009. Items from all committee agendas for July 7, 2009 were put to a re-vote for issues of legality. The remaining history and information regarding this measure is contained within the original Planning Committee Report 36, dated July 7, 2009.
