No. 366/Bill 65 <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br />Communication No. 366 and Bill 65, reports as follows: <br />Bill 65, transmitted by Director of Public Works Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication No. 108, dated <br />May 15, 2009, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3 (25 mile per hour <br />limit), paragraph (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, (2005 Edition, as amended), to be <br />appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />"(9) Mamalahoa Highway, from the terminus of the State Highway in Honalo <br />to a point [€ea~] five thousand one hundred feet in [a] the southerly <br />direction." <br />At its meeting of July 7, 2009, Your Committee recommended passage of Bill 65 on first reading. Items <br />from all committee agendas for July 7, 2009 were put to a re-vote due to issues of legality.
