<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> NZV os N,~ <br /> <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 139 <br /> Os N~ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. To establish the speed limit on the recently opened Keanalehu <br /> <br /> Drive to aid with speed enforcement. Keanalehu Drive runs through a residential zoned area and <br /> <br /> is between Kealakehe High School and Kealakehe Elementary and Intermediate Schools. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-255 (schedule 3. 25 mile per <br /> <br /> hour limit), paragraph (f), Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), <br /> <br /> is amended by adding the following subparagraph, to be appropriately numbered and to read as <br /> <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "O Keanalehu Drive." <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br /> <br /> and underscoring need not be included. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
