Schrandt <br /> Legislative Auditor V - v <br /> Subject: Proposed Audit Plan for FY 2009-2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In accordance with Hawaii County Charter section 3-18(d)(2), I am transmitting my plan of proposed <br /> FY 2009-2010 performance audits based on the FY 2007-2008 risk assessment of County departments <br /> and programs, subject to audit scope and availability of audit resources: <br /> <br /> • Department of Water Supply. <br /> • Department of Public Works - CIP Contract Supplements and Change Orders for FY 2006-2007 <br /> Audit Follow-up. <br /> • Department of Parks and Recreation. <br /> <br /> I am also transmitting my plan of proposed FY 2009-2010 Requests-for-Proposals for professional <br /> services, subject to availability of audit funds: <br /> <br /> • County-wide fraud, waste, and abuse risk assessment. <br /> • Third-party intake provider for a waste and abuse "hotline". <br /> • External financial audit of the County's annual financial transactions for FY 2009-2010, <br /> FY 2010-2011, FY 2011-2012, and FY 2012-2013 (as required by Hawaii County Charter § 10-13). <br /> <br /> All auditing will be conducted in accordance with government auditing standards.
