COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 111 <br />ORDINANCE NO. Q9 1~9 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br />(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to address a request from the <br />public to clarify who has the right of way at the subject intersection. This change will give the <br />right of way to what is believed to be the higher volume route. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-265 (Schedule 13, Yield <br />locations), paragraph (g), Puna, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is <br />amended by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />"(~ Huina Road eastbound approach at the Luhi Road intersection." <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br />and underscoring need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br />or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br />of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br />this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />SECTION 5.
