Ford, Council Member RE: Bill 137, Draft 2; Relating to an Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 06-105 Attached please find Bill No. 137, Draft 2, which incorporates some of the amendments contained in Communications No. 495.8, 495.10 and 495.12 as duly approved at the October 7, 2009, Council meeting. Of note, the amendments contained in Communication No. 495.10 were voted on separately, as the council decided to divide the question and consider each amendment individually. Some of those amendments were further amended by the council by verbal and written statements prior to adoption. Also, certain other amendments contained in Communication No. 495.10 were withdrawn by the introducer. The first amendment in Communication No. 495.8 was deleted, as it directly pertained to the amendment contained in Communication No. 495.12, which had been previously approved by the council. The remaining two amendments contained in Communication No. 495.8 were considered together by the council, with the amendment labeled as Item 2 further amended by the council prior to adoption.
