Fax (808) 961-8742 <br /> <br />The Honorable J Yoshimoto, Chairman <br />and Members of the County Council <br />County of Hawai'i <br />333 KIlauea Avenue, 2nd Floor <br />Hilo, HI 96720 <br /> <br />Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members: <br /> <br />County Council Initiated - Resolution No. 10809a <br />Amendments to Ordinance No. 05 25, as Amended (County of Hawai'i General Plan) <br />Relating to the Conversion from a Single Planning Commission to the Windward and <br />Leeward Planning: Commissions <br /> <br />The Leeward Planning Commission at its duly held public hearing on August 28,2009, <br />considered the County Council's request for amendments to Ordinance No. 05 25, as <br />amended (County of Hawai'i General Plan) relating to the conversion from a single <br />Planning Commission to the Windward and Leeward Planning Commissions. The <br />proposed amendments are basically "housekeeping changes" as the changes are merely to <br />replace the words "Planning Commission" with "Leeward and Windward Planning <br />Commissions.
