<br /> BILL 209 (Draft 2): Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds of the County of
<br /> Hawaii for the purpose of financing various public improvements of the County of Hawaii;
<br /> fixing the form, denominations, and certain other details of such bonds and providing for their
<br /> sale; and authorizing the issuance and sale of a like principal amount of general obligation bond
<br /> anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of such bonds and appropriating funds
<br /> for the costs of the issuance of such bonds. AYES: Councilmembers Leithead-Todd, Ray,
<br /> Reynolds, Santangelo, Smith, and Chairman Arakaki -6. NOES: Councilmembers Tyler and
<br /> Yagong -2. ABSENT & EXCUSED: Councilmember Chung - 1.
<br /> BILL 305: Amends Ordinance 98-50, as amended, relating to Public Improvements and
<br /> Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999; adds the following
<br /> projects: PARKS & RECREATION: Waiakea Peninsula Improvements ($750,000), Seven Seas
<br /> Luau House Improvements ($250,000), Sparky Kawamoto Swim Stadium Improvements
<br /> ($350,000), Wainaku Gym Improvements($100,000), Hale Halawai Improvements ($450,000),
<br /> Repairs to Facilities ($150,000); funds shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital
<br /> Projects Fund- Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($2,050,000).

<br /> Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1999; increases revenues of$8,000 in the
<br /> Contributing From Private Source account; and appropriates to the King Kalakaua Statue
<br /> Maintenance -private account. AYES: Councilmembers Leithead-Todd,Ray, Reynolds,
<br /> Santangelo, Smith, Tyler,Yagong and Chairman Arakaki - 8. NOES: None.

<br /> Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1999; increases revenues in the Federal Grants, 1998
<br /> Housing Preservation Grant, County Housing Revolving Fund,by$67,297; and appropriates to
<br /> the 1998 Housing Preservation-Federal, County Housing Revolving Fund.
