[Figure 7] <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hawaii County had significantly <br />more fatal crashes at higher <br />posted speeds (45-60mph) than <br />other counties, for the years <br />2001 - 2005. This difference is <br />likely because Hawaii County <br />has a greater proportion of two <br />lane undivided highways with <br />55 mph speed limits compared <br />tq, the rest of the State.
