This project will dredge the lower reach of <br /> the existing Wailoa Flood Control Channel to previously authorized depths. It addresses <br /> public health and safety matters by removing accumulated sediment and stream-run <br /> materials from the existing flood control channel to maintain the integrity of the drainage <br /> channel and to re-establish the channel capacity.
