<br />~. <br />~- <br />.'. .." <br /> <br />'.' <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF' <br /> <br />OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONNO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AMEND AND ADOPT AN AMENDED CITIZEN PARTICIPATION <br />PLAN, AS REQUIRED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT SMALL <br />CITIES, HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS, AND EMERGENCY SHELTER <br />GRANTS PROGRAMS., <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i receives federal funds from <br />the United states Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />(HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities <br /> <br />Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County is also eligible to receive federal <br />funds from the State of Hawai'i's Housing Finance and Development <br /> <br />Corporation and Hawai'i Housing Authority for the HOME Investment <br />Partnerships, Emergency'Shelter Grants, and Housing for Persons <br />with AIDS funds; and <br />WHEREAS, it is required by HUD that, before the ,County of <br />Hawai'i receives its a,nnual CDBG allocation, the County submit a <br />Consolidated Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the, County's Consolidated Plan describes the <br />County's housing and'homelessneeds; funding plans; proposed CDBG <br />projects,; and certIfies compliance, as it relates tbthe use of <br />the CDBGProgram funds; and <br />WHEREAS, in order for the County to submit the Consolidated <br />Plan ,to HOO, it isalsorequfred that the County adopt and comply <br />with a Citizen Participation ~i~h;and <br /> <br />0772H.BMI <br />
